Mixed Media Monday - Rust

This week over at Mixed Media Monday the theme

is 'Rust' and is hosted by my friend Gillian who's done

an amazing sample piece for her chosen theme. I decided

to alter this tin and make it into a memory box for this

weeks challenge, think I threw everything in my craft

cupboard at it lol and I hope it looks a bit rusty :o)

A Canvas or Two...

This was my first attempt at a canvas using

acrylics, metalic paints and some gold leaf.

I'd had made it for something else but Kaz

saw it and so it's now in sunny Scotland lol.

I had no idea they made ideal cat toys rofl!!!!!

Swing High...

I can't believe it's nearly the end of June already, this

year is flying by!! I made this piece for a COF and also

for Mixed Media Monday where the theme this week

is 'Places' .. my place is swinging in the garden which

I spent hours doing as a child :o)

The photo's aren't great sorry, after what felt like the

50th attempt I went with the first two lol

Make a Moo or Two - Girls

Over at Make a Moo Or Two this week

the theme is 'Girls'.

Decided to use a photo of my mum (on the left

not looking happy lol) and her sister taken

in I think 1948 or around that time :o)

Wednesday Stamper - Insects

The theme this week at Wednesday Stamper
is 'Insects' and as I'm terrified of most
creepy crawlies I thought I'd stick to
butterflies lol :o)
